What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional on-site personnel are not required.
You give your workforce the option to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee picture has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen in parallel in different dimensions.
So you always have the best possible photo for
Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp & Co, Facebook, the CRM system, XING, LinkedIn, Outlook
etc. are available.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load their original photo and the various versions for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can copy their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address.
Alternative deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
Customer ratings
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in this country and in Zurich.
