The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the optimal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display, as with the passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a sharing option for internal/external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image can be output in several formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company's logo and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their image digitally as well.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's email address.
