The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or bring up to date their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically adapted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the required steps on the monitor.

The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various forms.

How did the staff come to the picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, the employee can choose between three different ways of receiving his photo as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following possible uses:

The need for investment

The price for buying a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
