What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in various formats at the same time.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to load their original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.
