The mission goal
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be independently optimized to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photobooth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data set. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.
The image output can take place in parallel to many extents.
So you always have the perfect photo for

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company's logo and/or the employee's name and position will be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their image as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy the original recording and the different formats for the various target systems.
Other uses

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
