The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photobooth in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read out immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image can be output in various sizes at the same time.
So you always have the best possible photo for

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their image digitally as well.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email address. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems.
Other uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:
- Photo attraction at customer events & congresses

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photobooth perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
