What should be achieved?
The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, just like with a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The monitor is used as a touchscreen and as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can be done in several forms at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and/or the employee's name and position will also be visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new pictures, there are three different ways for employees to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.

Of course, there is also the possibility of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over directly.
