The mission goal
The employees in your company get the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can be done synchronously in many forms.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's designation and position will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to get his picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is then immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.
Other uses
In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
