What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically cut to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, as with the passport photo machine.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in many dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
Outlook, XING, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp & Co, Twitter
etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the designation and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture digitally.

1. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address right away.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can load their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.

In order to make the most of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
