The mission goal
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the photo of the employee's picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also found, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for employees to get their image digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his or her original image and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
