The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display, just like at a passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen simultaneously in many sizes.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will also be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive their picture as a file.

The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy the original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.

Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought immediately.
