The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or many backrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed photo and the in-house employee data set via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in several forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways of getting their picture digitally.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original recording and the various formats for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
