The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of taking a photo of their personal employee photo and/or updating it at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, just like at a passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel to different extents.

How does the employee get the photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory are not the only ones to get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get their photo digitally.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can save their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
