What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal/external uses of the recording.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his photo digitally as well.

The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
