The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photobooth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

How does the staff get their photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.

1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
