The mission goal
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or rotating location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to fully identify themselves around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in a similar way to the photo booth and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external assignments of the employee portrait can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the connection.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can also be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or the Active Directory are not the only ones to get hold of the new photos, the employee has three different ways to choose from to also receive his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Alternative uses
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
It goes without saying that there is also the option of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
