The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the option to always identify themselves 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the right format, irritating elements are removed from the background and, if desired, saved in several formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth like in a photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen and as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place synchronously in different sizes.

etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be visible directly on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy the original recording and the various versions for the different target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.

Alternative deployment options

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos

• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Photo attraction at customer events & meetings
• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is adopted immediately.

Customer ratings
