The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor, just like with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read out immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.
So you always have the perfect photo for

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the help of the logo and/or the designation and the position of the employee can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is shown on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original image and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Alternative uses
In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing a customized photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
