What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
This gives your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You can place a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, just like at a passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in different forms.
So you always have the best photo for

etc. ready.
Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and/or the employee's name and position will appear directly on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, the employee has three different ways of getting his photo as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following possible uses:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
