The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, just like at a passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can happen simultaneously to some extent.
So you always have the best possible photo for
Facebook, XING, Outlook, the CRM system, Twitter
etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.

Other uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Pictures of groups of visitors, e.g. after a presentation
• Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”
• Photo attraction at customer events & meetings
• Employee photos (as explained above)

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photobooth optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
