The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).

You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically optimized for the best format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The information collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.

How does the employee get the picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, there are three different ways for employees to get their photo as a file.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different sizes for the various target systems.

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:
