What should be achieved?

The staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording.

After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
Twitter, LinkedIn, the CRM system, Facebook, XING, Instagram
etc. lying ready.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and/or the employee's name and position will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to receive their photo as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.

Alternative uses

To get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

• Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
• Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”
• Use at staff parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Photo attraction at customer events & meetings

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photobooth adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
