The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of formats and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can be done in different formats at the same time.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, the staff can choose between three different ways to get their picture as a file.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
  2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
  3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
    The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
    At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
