The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, just like with the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can also be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.

1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
