The mission goal
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
You give your staff the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in parallel in various forms.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their photo digitally as well.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the staff must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
Additional deployment options
In order to make the most of your purchase, you have the following possible uses:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
