The mission goal
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on the spot.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box like at a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a checkbox for internal/external use of the image.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can happen simultaneously in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to also get their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the staff must dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Other possible uses

The cost frame

Of course there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept directly.
