The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your teams the chance to always identify 100% with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data, e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the picture taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen synchronously in different sizes.

etc. at hand.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position will also be visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to also receive their picture digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN to which the staff has to dial.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where staff can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email address.

Alternative deployment options

In order to take full advantage of the purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
