The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra personnel on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor, just like with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image can also be set up.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel in various dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” using the company logo and/or the employee's name and position will also be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for staff to get their image as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Additional uses
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased directly.
