The mission goal
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the chance to always identify 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from distracting elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in various forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the staff to receive their picture digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where staff can load their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
Alternative uses
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photobooth perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is already worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
