What should be achieved?

The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personnel photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The employee data recorded in this way are then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for staff to receive their picture as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy down their original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.

Other possible uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The cost of purchasing such a customized photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept directly.
