What should be achieved?

The staff in your company are given the opportunity to create and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your teams the chance to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically adapted to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You can position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is found for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.

The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can happen at the same time to some extent.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for staff to receive their photos as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the worker's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The price for purchasing such a perfect photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
