What should be achieved?

It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for staff to receive their image digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
