What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display, similar to the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the stored portrait and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can be done in parallel in several sizes.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
Other possible uses

The need for investment
