What should be achieved?

The staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen simultaneously to some extent.
So you always have the best photo for
the CRM system, XING, Twitter, Instagram
etc. at hand.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture digitally.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different formats for the different target systems.
  2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
    The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
    At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
  3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
