The mission goal
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, similar to the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available.
The image can be output in various formats at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” using the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How do the staff get their picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo will be sent immediately to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
Additional uses
In order to make the most of your purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The investment for the purchase of a photo booth optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for €650 + €1/employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
Customer ratings
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in this country and in Zurich.
