What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be cut to the optimal format by machine, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, like in a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the image can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can happen in parallel in various dimensions.
So you always have the right photo for

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original recording and the different versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can save their images. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Other possible uses
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The investment for the purchase of a photobooth adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased directly.
