The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company are given the opportunity to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The employee data collected in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.

Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or various background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.

The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data set via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place synchronously in many dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately shown on the picture.

How did the staff get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for staff to choose to receive their photos as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the different sizes for the various target systems.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo will be sent directly to the employee's email address.

Further deployment options

To get the most out of your purchase, you have these options:

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased directly.
