The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or bring up to date the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined point.

The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in several dimensions at the same time.

How does the photographed person get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for staff to receive their image as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.
