What should be achieved?
The field service employees in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in certain dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the required actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photo of the employee picture, the background of the picture can automatically be exchanged for one or more backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in various forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not get the new pictures, the sales representative has three different ways to receive his picture digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download the original image and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
