The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in certain dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds that you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in many forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his picture as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original image and the various versions for the various target systems.
