What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personnel number, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photo taken and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in several forms.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, the employee has three different options to get his photo as a file.

The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
