What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional personnel on site.
This gives your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The employee data collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many of the backrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head of each photo is found, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory does not alone get the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's inbox.
