The mission goal

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.

The personal photos can be cut to the best possible format by machine, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, just like with the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data, e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external assignments of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different dimensions at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

  1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
  2. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.
  3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
    The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
