The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be set up.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the logo and/or the employee's name and position will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original recording and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
