What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your teams the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The information recorded in this way is then later a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The image is saved in a size and format that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved image with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the picture.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory comes into possession of the new recordings, employees can choose between three different ways to get their picture digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address immediately. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
Other uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The price for buying a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought immediately.
