Then there is a Photo Box from Photo Booth Deluxe worth considering.
What should be achieved?
The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, analogous to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you define (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
Image output can be done to some extent at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
Outlook, the CRM system, Instagram, Facebook
etc. lying ready.
Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.
Special advantages of automatic photo processes for professional employee photos
- RAW data can also be saved on request
- minimal labor
- Independently made reliable staff photos in the highest DSLR quality and studio flash technology
- digital branding with your background and logo.
- Employee admission according to your corporate design
- even the name of the employee can be automatically inserted into the image without manual rework.
- the employee photo box is significantly cheaper than a hired photographer
How did the staff come to the picture?
So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose how to get their image as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is then sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.
Other possible uses
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
- Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos
- Employee photos (as explained above)
- Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”
- Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
- Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a presentation
The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a Photo Box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
references
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Switzerland.
Both at WWZ AG in Zurich and at Haufe Lexware, the system is very popular with colleagues.
