What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can easily be read from the employee ID. The information collected in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several sizes.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the picture.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, employees can choose between three different ways of getting their image digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems.

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
