The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various formats.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly on the picture.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory does not alone get the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photos digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
Additional uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
