The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently adapted to the optimal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with the passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured so that the data is simply read from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.
Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in various dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position will be immediately included in the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the company employees to choose to also receive their photo digitally.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the company employees must dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can load their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Alternative deployment options

Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
