What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in a number of shapes and aspect ratios if desired.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The information recorded in this way later becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photograph taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can be in different forms at the same time.

How does the employee get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to choose from to get their photos digitally as well.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the company employees must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Other possible uses
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
